Wow! Today our Sydney turned 6 years old. To celebrate the big day Sydney had a little pool party with her friends. Sydney and the kids had a blast in the pool. I think the only time they left the pool was to eat lunch and cake! By the time we made it home this evening we had 2 very tired girls on our hands. After watching a movie the girls headed off to bed. I think they were both fast asleep in less that a minute!
It's hard for me to believe that Sydney is 6. How did we get here so fast? Watching Sydney grow into a little girl is bitter sweet. It's exciting to see her grow and learn, but it's a little sad to see the "baby" in her slip away. I like to joke around with her and call her "my big baby girl". She always looks at me with that typical Sydney look and says, "Mom. I am not a baby anymore". I always give her the same answer..."No matter how old you get Sydney. You will always be my baby".
