I hope all of your moms out there had a wonderful Mother's Day. My day was lovely. The whole lot of us went to church this morning. Since Bryce can't go to the nursery, for the past year Bryan and I alternate who takes the girls to church. I really wanted us all to go today so that is what we did. Bryce lasted about 15 mins of the service and then Bryan walked him around the halls of the church the rest of the time. Bryce loved the singing before the sermon started. He clapped his hands and kept saying, "Yeaaaa. Yeaaaa.". So cute. The sermon today was on Proverbs 31:10-31.
After church we surprised my mom and grandmother by showing up at Piccadilly for lunch. I'll be honest and say that I didn't have plans to join them for lunch, but when I woke up Mother's Day morning there was a voice telling me I needed to go to lunch. I'm glad I went because it was great seeing my grandmother. She was looking fabulous in her matching hat and jacket. My afternoon was spent relaxing and working on the blog in silence which was heaven. For dinner Bryan and I got to sneak off alone while my mom watched the kids for us. I had a gift card to Kani House burning a hole in my pocket! Yum.
I am so thankful that I get to be mommy to Sydney, Jordyn and Bryce. These little people keep me on my toes and I wouldn't have it any other way.
