Daddy's Girl

Jordyn had Dad's Night at her preschool last night.

She had been waiting for this special night for 2 weeks now. Everyday she asks if it's daddy's night at her school yet. I have even had to "debate" with her about when the big day was.

Finally, the special night arrived and she was so excited to show her daddy off at school. I think Bryan and Jordyn equally had a great time. This morning Jordyn told me she had an awesome time with her daddy, which made me smile.

I love that my babies have an amazing daddy.

All dressed up for her night out with dad.

Bryan wasn't looking too bad either. ;)

Bryan was showered with gifts. His lovely pencil holder and paper weight aren't shown, but they are fabulous.
And yes, Bryan wore his "tie" while at school.

"My Daddy When I Was Four" ~ Author: Unknown

4 years old: My daddy can do anything. 5 years old: My dad knows a whole lot. 6 years old: My dad is smarter than your dad. 8 years old: My dad doesn't know exactly everything. 10 years old: In the olden days, when my dad grew up, things were sure different. 12 years old: Oh well, naturally, Dad doesn't know anything about that. He is too old to remember his childhood. 14 years old: Don't pay any attention to my dad. He is so old-fashioned. 21 years old: Him? My Lord, he is hopelessly out-of-date. 25 years old: Dad knows about it, but then he should because he has been around so long. 30 years old: Maybe we should ask Dad what he thinks. After all, he 's had a lot of experience. 35 years old: I'm not doing a single thing until I talk to Dad. 40 years old: I wonder how Dad would have handled it. He was so wise. 50 years old: I'd give anything if Dad were here now so I could talk this over with him. Too bad I didn't appreciate how smart he was. I could have learned a lot from him.

The right page above reads:
"My Daddy" - answer's provided by Jordyn. ;)

My daddy's name is Bryan.
He is 80 years old.
He has blue eyes and black hair.
He is 99 feet tall and weights 50 pounds.
His favorite color is red and black.
At work my Daddy teaches big children.
My Daddy's favorite sport is football. (Go Dawgs!)
My favorite thing to do with my Daddy is give him monkey hugs and watch movies with him. ** Jordyn gives her daddy at least one money hug a day. It's her trademark hug.
My Daddy's favorite thing to eat is chili.
When my Daddy is at home his favorite things to do are he likes to do stuff with the family and play together.
I love my Daddy because he is so sweet and special.
