50 Days of Summer: Day 3

The next day we headed to Epcot bright and early since we had breakfast reservations at the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall for the Princess Storybook Breakfast. We were early to the park so we quickly road Soarin' to kill some time before breakfast. By the time we got off the ride a light sprinkle had started up and became a little heavier while we waited on breakfast.
We had a delightful breakfast with Belle, Cinderella, Ariel, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty.

Poor Ariel. The kids really liked her.

The girls did this on their own.
Sydney was acting like she stabbed Jordyn, who in turn was acting like she had been stabbed.
Morbid, but I thought it was hilarious!
 Goofballs.
 More Goofballs.

By the time we left breakfast there was a light rain out so we pulled out the old ponchos. Note to those traveling to Disney - NEVER go without ponchos!! You never know when they will come in handy. Bryan actually went out and purchased us some decent ponchos before the trip and I'm really glad he did because after breakfast we rode one ride and by the time we got off the ride there was a down pour for pretty much the remainder of the day into late afternoon. Bryan and I were kicking ourselves for not checking the weather before we left that morning as we both wore the wrong shoes for a solid downpour. We were miserable with soaking wet shoes all day, but we soldiered on in the rain and ended up having ourselves a nice day at Epcot. Since it was so wet outside many of the characters were moved indoors so we took a break from the rain and spent about 2 hours inside seeing characters and eating ice cream. It was a nice time to dry out a little.
We stumbled upon Mulan in one of the buildings. No one was in line to see her because they moved her inside due to the rain. I guess no one knew she was in there which worked to the kids advantage as she spent a lot of time interacting with them.
Mulan and Sydney are up to no good...
Mulan gets Jordyn in on the secret too...
Her plan...a kiss for the handsome rocker!
 Fish are friends...not food.
Ice cream time! That was the biggest ice cream sandwich I have ever seen and he almost ate all of it. CALORIES!!
 Sundae with caramel.

 Sundae with chocolate fudge.

 Mickey!!
 Pluto
Minnie...a very short Minnie at that.
 Donald
 Goofy...he was fun.
 Marie! Sydney was so excited.
Bryce was telling Beauty that he is 3-years-old.
We were surprised to see Belle in her "regular" clothes.
 Baloo

By late afternoon the heavy rain was over so we were able to ditch the ponchos and we headed out to more attractions. A great, but wet day at Epcot.
The day got even better once I was able to shed my wet shoes!
 See the bunny?!
Ready to call it a day - Bye Epcot!
