Celebration #1: Christmas Kick Off

We kicked off our Christmas celebration at a family gathering at my mom's house with her side of the family. Bryan didn't make it to this get-together because he was in Seattle at a huge volleyball conference, but everyone else in the family was there so it was a great visit. The only bummer was we forgot to take a group picture! My mom and I couldn't believe we forgot to do that. Oh well...there's always next year. I also did a terrible job at taking pictures of everyone because I was too busy talking, as usual. Ha!

 Birthday cake for Jesus.

One of my favorite people of all time...Lindsay and her sweet Parker.

Lindsay asked Bryce if he wanted a little brother. He said: No!

The kids put on a play for us, which they have been working on for a few months. The kids wrote the play and my mom helped them make their costumes. The play was about a sister and brother (Julie and Carson) making their Christmas lists. Julie decides to ask for a lemonade stand so she can raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to help find a cure for CF, which her brother has. ;) When Santa and the Elves learn of what she asked for they bring her a beautiful lemonade stand! The kids rounded out the play by singing us We Wish You A Merry Christmas. After the play the lemonade stand was open and "Julie", made $15.00! Not a bad haul for a lemonade stand that sells cups for $.25. The money will go towards 2014's Great Stride walk under our beloved team: Team Bryce Bryce Baby.

The lemonade stand...to help e-LEMONate CF.
My mom made this using a doll carriage, boxes, and a table clothe.
It's super cute.
