October Happenings 2023

To speed up the process of catching up on my posts since I am terribly far behind I'm going to post the happenings of each month. I'll try to keep the writing to a minimum.

Let's go...

Lamp of Knowledge ceremony. Jordyn received the Lamp of Knowledge (she got a certificate and a pin to go on her letterman jacket). This is given to students who maintain an A average during their 4 years at Etowah. Sydney received this award too, but that was back in the dumb Covid days so she never had a ceremony for it. As you can see, Jordyn and her smarty pants best friends received the award too!

Here's a sneak peak and some of Jordyn's Senior photos we took. This was our 2nd shoot.
First one we took in California over the summer.

Bryan and I celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary.

And of course no month is complete without a lot of FOOTY!! At one of the games in October, Bryce ended up breaking a bone in his right hand, which took him out of goal for 6/7 weeks.

He was out completely for a good 2 weeks and then once he got his hard cast on he was able to play on the field some.

The morning after. Yep. We need urgent care.

The month ended with Halloween. Our last Halloween having Jordyn and friends here with their themed costumes. I'll miss that!
