The weekend came and went...fast.
As usual we had ourselves a busy little weekend.
We spent a few hours at the Wildwood Baptist Community Fair that Bryce's preschool hosted. It was a fundraiser for the preschool so I wanted to be there to support the school. It's a fabulous little school, but in today's awesome economy the school has felt the pinch. Not only was the fair a success; it was a fun way to spend the first part of our Saturday together. We actually stayed longer than I expected because the kids were having so much fun. We played on the playground, jumped in the jumpy, tested our skills on the basket ball throw, the girls got their faces painted, did some dancing with the music and movement teacher, browsed all the cute vendors that participated, ate popcorn and baked goods and did a round of the cake walk. On top of all that several of our little friends were there which of course made for even more fun.

The second part of our day was spent at the soccer field for a very tough but exciting game. The Fireballs only have 8 girls on the team and 6 girls are on the field at all times. Well...they had 2 players out of town for their game, which meant all 6 girls played the ENTIRE game with no subs. Not only did the girls play the entire game, but they played a pretty good team. Their opponents were a little bigger and was made up of some very skilled players. Our girls held there own and although they lost 4 to 1, they played with everything they had until the end. Needless to say they were all red-faced and out of breath by the time the game was over.
