Waking up in my own bed felt good. I woke about two hours earlier than everyone else. I laid in bed for about 30 mins before heading downstairs to make some coffee and to read. It was an hour of uninterpreted quiet time. Delicious.
Cousin Maisie came to spend the day with us.
Her mom and dad are on vacation in Iceland right now.
It's actually my sis-in-law's birthday today so I'm going to give her a little birthday shout out.

The kids spent the afternoon playing indoors and out. I spent the day catching up on 50 Days of Summer and laundry. My mother-in-law offered to make us dinner tonight when we brought Maisie back to her house. I took her up on the offer because we have no food in the house! Thanks Honey for the yummy dinner.

After dinner the kids set out to pick blueberries. Blueberries are not my favorite choice of berries, but I must admit fresh blueberries are rather tasty.
OH and in other exciting news today...
Jordyn started riding her bike WITHOUT training wheels!! Woohoo, goooo Jordyn!

Go Jordyn!! Alejandro is so anxious about the lack of training (if we talk about taking them off) wheels that he's a total mess by the time we get to the garage. 2 of our summer goals are learn to swim without swimmies and no training wheels!!
