My Baby Is SIX...

Can y'all believe it?

Can you believe my baby is 6-years-old already?

This sweet tiny little baby boy

is now a long slender little man.

Never a dull moment with this guy. He runs full force all day, every day. I don't know anyone else who loves life like Bryce does. Despite having to do daily treatments and swallow dozens of pills per day he doesn't seem to mind. He really is one of the happiest people I know. He is smart, articulate and inquisitive. He is extremely entertaining and funny. He can't sit still to save his life. Some may say he is wild and crazy...I totally agree and I love it. Life wouldn't be nearly as interesting without our Bryce around. He was the perfect piece to completing our family. I'm really looking forward to what his 6th year of life has in store for him. He will start taking Kalydeco Friday and on August 4th he starts Kindergarten. (I hope Boston Elementary is ready for him!)

I can't wait to watch my little man soar this year.

Love you to the moon and back Bryce Carter!

Funny story:
Last week we were at Publix ordering Bryce's birthday cake. I ended up buying some facial tissues for back-to-school. The guy bagging up our tissues asked if they were for Bryce and I told him they were for Bryce's back-to-school supplies.

Guy: What grade are you going to be in?
Bryce: The garden. (pause)
And I'm going to pick flowers, give them to my girlfriend and we are NEVER breaking up.

The guy bagging and the cashier looked at me and we all started cracking up.

I said he doesn't have a girlfriend to which Bryce exclaimed: OH YES I DO!!

We are going to have to have a talk about what Kinder-garten is and how he isn't allowed to have a girlfriend until he is at least 25.
(haha)

Let's take a short trip down memory lane of Bryce's first year...
(this blog would never end if I did the past 6 years.)

Bryce's vest arrived on June 12th, 2009. He was 11-months-old. This is him on the vest for the first time during our training session with a nurse who delivered it to us.

 One!

I know I said I would post pictures from only the first year, but I had to post this because seriously...how cute? He was a biker dude for Halloween. He was 15-months-old.

If I don't cut myself off now the picture posting will continue all day!!!
