D is for Disney. A is for Again. 2015 Edition. Part 4.

Friday September 25th

Our last day of vacation arrived way too fast. We decided to visit Blizzard Beach again instead of Typhoon Lagoon because we had so much fun during the first visit. We also heard that Blizzard Beach was a little more thrilling out of the two water parks so thrilling won out. We spent a few hours at the water park before heading back to the resort to get ready for the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Since our experience with MNSSHP last year was less that desirable (pouring rain and a barfing kid) we decided to try it again. We dressed in our same costumes (Star Wars of course) and headed out. After a week of beautiful weather it decided to rain! The good news is the rain didn't last all night, which we were thankful for. We really enjoyed the party, but it was crowded and having to deal with ponchos was annoying, even though it wasn't for very long. This may be an event we decide to skip in the future, but who knows we may change our minds. The kids made it through until the end of the party and by the time we got them in bed it was 1:30 am (and this is with us doing the vest early before the party)! The kids didn't wake up the next morning until 9:00. They were wiped out! We took our time packing, eating breakfast and cashing in all of our snack credits before we reluctantly left for home.
Seven hours later we were Home Sweet Home.

Once again Disney delivered an amazing family vacation. If you haven't been I recommend going sooner than later. It really is so much fun at any age. I also recommend staying on Disney property. Yes, it is more expensive, but I think it's totally worth it. Trust me on this! I am also a fan of the dining plan. We were able to do the free dining, which for our family of 5 is a better discount than going with a room discount. If you have any questions about traveling to Disney let me know. I am happy to answer questions as it can be a little overwhelming if you have never been. You definitely need a game plan in place before you go otherwise you might be miserable!

Trick-or-Treating. We came home with a ton of candy.

Waiting for the bus to take us back to the resort. Luckily it was a short wait!
Smiling faces at the end of fun filled week.
Goal accomplished. My work here was done!

The End.
